Overview
The Logistics module allows you to seamlessly streamline your order fulfillment and shipping workflows directly within the AMFG platform. You can group individual tracking instances into consolidated parcels, configure dimensional metrics, and download ready-to-print shipping labels from your preferred delivery service providers.
This module utilizes Voila, a next-generation multi-carrier shipping API that provides a single, unified connection to over 150 global and regional couriers (including UPS, DHL, FedEx, and DPD). By integrating Voila into your logistics flow, AMFG automates shipping label generation, service mappings, and real-time tracking directly from your interface.
π Activation Requirement: Logistics integration and the Voila carrier pipeline are supplementary system add-ons. You must contact your dedicated Customer Success/Implementations representative to enable the courier integration for your account. The internal logistics process creation tools, carrier service presets, and automated push rules will not be active or accessible until your account has been provisioned.
Method 1: Generating Quick Shipping Labels Directly from Items
Use this method if you need to quickly generate an individual shipping label for specific items without grouping them into a larger parcel.
Step 1: Navigate to the PART or ITEM View
Open your AMFG Management Console and navigate to Work Orders β Work Orders Overview in the left sidebar menu.
βChoose either the PART tab or the ITEM tab based on your fulfillment level.
Step 2: Select Parts or Items and Initiate the Label
Locate the specific parts or items you intend to fulfill.
Tip: On the PART tab, you need to click the blue plus sign button [+] to expand any row and display and select specific items if needed.
βSelect the checkbox in the left-most column.
βClick the SHIPPING LABEL button located at the top of the data table.
Step 3: Configure Shipping Details
In the Shipping label pop-up window, the system automatically interfaces with your connected Voila multi-carrier network to pre-populate live provider metrics. Fill out the following fields:
Courier: Select your delivery service provider and preferred shipping method from the dropdown menu (e.g., Standard UPS).
π Voila Integration Note: The available choices in the Courier dropdown, alongside the associated billing company parameters, are retrieved in real-time from your active Voila API connections.
βDelivery center: Choose the specific location from which the parcel will physically ship (e.g., UPS Belgium).
Note: Administrators can define these origin locations by navigating to Settings β Checkout & Delivery.
β
Box size: Input the dimensions and weight metrics of your package into the Width, Height, Length, and Weight fields. You can also switch to the preferred measurement units.
βClick SAVE to generate the shipment, or CANCEL to exit without saving.
Step 4: Download the Shipping Label & Track
Once saved, the courier's system will automatically generate a tracking number.
βThis tracking number will appear as a clickable link directly under the SHIPPING LABEL column for that item row.
βClick the hyperlinked tracking number (e.g.,
1Z739E2E68960...) to view or download a print-ready Shipping Label PDF containing the finalized address, carrier barcode, tracking digits, and package weight parameters.
Method 2: Creating and Managing Consolidated Parcels
Use this method if you need to consolidate multiple parts or items into a single parcel container before processing your shipment.
Step 1: Group Components into a Parcel
Navigate to either the PART or ITEM tab inside the Work Orders Overview.
βSelect the checkboxes next to the specific rows you intend to package together.
βClick the ASSIGN TO PARCEL button located at the top right of the data table.
βIn the Assign to parcel pop-up window, choose your packaging method:
New parcel: Select this option to generate a completely new, unique Parcel ID automatically.
Existing parcel: Select this option and utilize the dropdown menu to add your items to an existing parcel container.
β
Click APPLY to lock the components into the parcel.
Step 2: Add a Logistic Process to your Parcel
Click on the PARCEL tab located at the top of the main data table.
βLocate your package and select the checkbox next to its Parcel ID (e.g.,

Waybill number: Manually input your carrier tracking number or shipping document ID directly into the text field.
Delivery center: Select your shipping origin location from the dropdown menu (e.g., DHL, DPD).
β
Click APPLY to save the configuration.
βTo finalize dispatch when a consolidated package physically leaves your dock, select its row under the PARCEL tab and click SHIP PARCEL at the top right.
π οΈ Need to remove a component? If an item was assigned to a package by mistake, select the item row in the Parcel and click the REMOVE ITEM button at the top right of the PARCEL data table to separate it from that specific collection.
