  1. Login or create a new account in Google Analytics.

  2. Create Google Analytics property (with type GA4)

  3. In the property create a Data Stream with the type “Web”, Hostname - hostname of the Front End portal.

  4. Copy the “MEASUREMENT ID” of the created data stream and save it into Management Console > Settings > Application settings > Analytics > Google Analytics. This Measurement ID should start with “G-”, it indicates that GA4 is used.

  5. Return to Google Analytics. Go to Custom definitions of the property. Click “Create custom dimension”. Dimension name - any (event_label for example), Scope - event, Event parameter - event_label.

  6. Then create another dimension:
Dimension name - any (event_action for example), Scope - event, Event parameter - event_action.

That’s it, now on the Front End all pageviews are being tracked by Google Analytics and all events are being sent to GA and being received by GA.

To test it go to Google Analytics -> Real Time section. All events and page views are displayed here.
