In AMFG, you can use Discounts to entice new or old customers who have stopped using your services by cutting your prices.
You can use either personal or group discounts that will be automatically applied to the price calculation of your customers, or apply discounts manually when submitting a Quote and sending it to the customer.
Creating Discounts
1. Personal Discounts
To assign a personal discount for a specific customer, navigate to Contacts -> List -> Select a contact from the List (click on the Name/ID) -> Assign Hidden/Displayed discount percentage:
2. Group Discounts
To assign discounts to a specific group of customers, navigate to Contacts -> Groups tab -> Select a Group -> Assign Displayed/Hidden discount in the pop-up window:

3. Manual Discounts in Quotes
To assign a manual discount on a Quote, when reviewing a Ticket in the Management Console, select the Create a Quote button -> On the Quote module pop-up, assign a manual discount either as a percentage or a fixed price -> Submit:
Discount Types
1. Displayed Discount
When a displayed discount is assigned, it will be applied automatically to the price of each service in the order, whether the order is created on the Customer Portal or in the Management Console directly.
On the Customer Portal, the discount will be visible in the price breakdown both in the Basket when parts are added and on the Checkout page.
β
Note: To enable a more granular price breakdown, please navigate to Settings -> Application -> Enable the "Show Gross Price" toggle:
β
2. Hidden Discount
Hidden discounts are applied directly to the backend price calculation, meaning that when a customer with a hidden discount uploads a part on the portal in the quotation tool, the displayed price will include the relevant hidden discount. However, there would be no notification that the price includes any discount, and the Discount field in the price breakdown on the Basket/Checkout page will be empty.
