In AMFG you can use Discounts to entice new customers, or old customers who have stopped using your services by cutting your prices.
You can use either Customer or Customer Group discounts that will be automatically applied to the price calculation of your customers or apply discounts manually when submitting a Quote and sending it to the customer.
To assign a personal discount for a specific Customer navigate to Customers -> Select the from the List tab (click on the customer's Name) -> Assign Hidden/Displayed discount percentage:
2. To assign discounts to a specific group of customers navigate to Customers -> Groups tab -> Select a Group -> Assign Displayed/Hidden discount in the pop-up window:
3. To assign a discount in a Quote, when reviewing a Ticket in the Management Console select the Create a Quote button -> On the Quote pop-up assign a manual discount either as a percentage or a fixed price -> Submit:

When a displayed discount is assigned to a Customer or a Customer Group it will be applied automatically to the price of each service in their order whether the order is created on the Customer (Front End) Portal or in the Management Console directly.
On the Customer Portal, the discount will be visible in the price breakdown both in the Basket when parts are added or on the Checkout page.
Note: To enable the more structured price breakdown please navigate to Settings -> Application -> Enable the "Show Gross Price" toggle:
Hidden Discount
Hidden discounts are added directly in the quotation formulas for that customer/group, meaning that when a customer with a hidden discount uploads a part on the Front End portal, the price calculated for them by the quoting tool will be lower but there will be no value for Discount in the Price Breakdown when they move to the Basket/Checkout page.
