Default Email Templates and Automatic Triggers

Below you can find a list of the default Email templates that are available as standard in your Management Console. Many of these default templates are pre-configured with automation rules (i.e., emails are automatically sent out in certain scenarios, e.g., when a new order is placed by a customer).

You can edit the name of each template manually, so there is a chance that your templates have different names from those listed in the table below.


In addition to the pre-configured automation rules for these Email templates, you can configure additional rules in the Autonomous → Workflow Automation section:

Description

Full Refund

No

It can be configured as the name suggests for refunds, but no automatic actions are assigned by default. Trigger(s) can be set in Workflow Automation.

Order Dispatch

No

It can be configured, as the name suggests, for order dispatch notifications, but no automatic actions are assigned by default. Trigger(s) can be set in Workflow Automation.

Order Confirmation

No

It can be configured as the name suggests, for order confirmation notifications, but no automatic actions are assigned by default. Trigger(s) can be set in Workflow Automation.

Quote Request: Non-Transactional

No

Legacy Template. It can be configured, as the name suggests, for quotation requests, but no automatic actions are assigned by default. Trigger(s) can be set in Workflow Automation.

New Order

Yes

By default will send an order notification email to the assigned Order contact (Customer) when a New Order is created from the Management Console or on the Front End Ordering Portal

General Enquiry

Yes

By default, it will send an email to the customer after they create a manual quote request on the Front End Ordering Portal, e.g., confirming the request was received in the AMFG console

Order Cancellation

No

It can be configured, as the name suggests, for order cancellation notifications, but no automatic actions are assigned by default. Trigger(s) can be set in Workflow Automation.

Quote

Yes

This email template is used if a Quote is sent to the quote recipient (Customer) from the Front End Ordering Portal or Management Console

Account Activation

Yes (if enabled in Portal Settings)

If Settings → Portal Settings → Email validation for new registrations is ON, it will send an activation email to the newly registered Customer to activate their account

Management Console Registration

Yes

This email template is used if a new Customer Contact is created in the Management Console. It should contain a password. The email is sent to the Customer

Request For Quote

No

Legacy template. It can be configured, as the name suggests, for quotation requests, but no automatic actions are assigned by default. Trigger(s) can be set in Workflow Automation.

Password Reminder

Yes

Password reminder email is triggered when the user on the Front End clicks the "Forgotten password" button.
